2002 Plantagenet Mount Barker Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep mauve crimson hue.Aroma of spice, plum, mocha and blackberry followed by a hint of violet.The palate structure is quite tight and a bit lighter than expected.Flavours of stewed fruit and spice followed by cedar and white pepper.Fine grained tannins, but quite tight and chalky.Aftertaste of stewed fruit.
