An impressive commercial wine.Very deep crimson colour with deep mauve purple hue.Lifted nose of violets, blackberry, spice and liquorice.The palate has a ‘joosy’ quality – not quite as opulent as wines from McLaren Vale, but nonetheless very evident.Flavours of spice, liquorice, blackberry and plum emerge.Fine grained, soft tannins.Long aftertaste of spice, plum and blackberry.
