Alta Vista’s Terroir Selection Cabernet Sauvignon thoughtfully blends two estate vineyards in a unique proportion each vintage. Albaneve and Temis, in different appellations within the Uco Valley, each bring a unique character to this distinctive Cabernet which is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Harvest Note A cold and dry winter gave way to a dry spring, with periodic threat of frosts. Thankfully, Alta Vista fared well and welcomed a warm and dry summer leading to an early harvest. The dry vintage reduced yields somewhat although the vines remained healthy. A quick and skilled harvest assured good acid balance in the finished wines.
