American Soju Original is a clean, crisp soju made in the USA in the classic Korean style. Soju is a clear, low-proof spirit traditionally distilled from rice or grain, and this Original expression is full-bodied yet light, with a subtle sweetness and a little zest on the finish that makes it easy to sip on its own.
It goes with just about any food, which is exactly how soju is meant to be enjoyed: serve it well chilled in small glasses alongside Korean barbecue, sushi, dumplings, or spicy dishes. It also works over ice, mixed with soda or juice, or as a lighter base for cocktails in place of vodka. This is the bottle to start with if you are new to soju, and the house pour for anyone who already loves it.
