95% Tempranillo & 5% Garnacha
A broad, warm-toned Rioja that serves as a versatile, easy-to-drink introduction to the Roda house style. It’s classically savory-edged, with dried herb and stony-earth accents to the generous, sunbaked strawberry and plum from the dominant Tempranillo. With only a year in seasoned French oak barrels, this has a much more well-meshed woodsy and barrel-spiced tone than the typical, classic Rioja. With a lightly chewy finish from the generous, powdery-fine tannins, this is a versatile food partner from cured meats and moderately-aged cheees to hearty tapas, roasted vegetables and meats.
Fined with egg whites. Unfiltered.
