Eighteen years of oak maturation delivers soft medicinal peat smoke, ripe dark berry jam, briny sea salt, velvety dried fruit and subtle polished oak spice. Its layered aroma mingles smoldering ash and rich sweet fruit amplified by robust alcohol. The palate balances smooth smoky malt with rounded fruit tannins, leading to a long saline, wood-kissed finish. A small dash of spring water unveils its intricate, mature coastal Islay depth.
