Cakebread Suscol Springs Cabernet tells the story of this hillside estate vineyard where cooler temperatures and rocky, well draining soils yield concentrated fruit and exquisitely balanced acidity. Comprised of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, the wine aged 22 months in 70% new oak, 30% neutral oak barrels. Fresh expressions of blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherry are balanced by fresh acidity and supported by a firm tannic structure.
