Sourced from the San Lorenzo vineyard in Barolo. Average age of vines is about 22 years. They do not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers.
Winemaker’s Notes:One of the great ultra traditional estates of the Piedmont, Cantina Bartolo Mascarello has begun modernizing just a bit under the reins of Bartolo’s daughter, Maria Theresa. Beautifully defined fruit and good balancing acidity have been the hallmarks of the estate’s Barbera.
