Casa Azul Añejo is the aged expression from Casa Azul, the luxury tequila brand from beverage entrepreneur Lance Collins, the founder behind Core Water and Body Armor, known for its striking blue bottle and its wildly popular tequila soda. The añejo is made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months, well beyond the one-year requirement.
The extended maturation gives it a golden amber hue and a rich, sophisticated profile: vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak on the nose with subtle spice and fruit, then a luxurious palate of caramel, vanilla, and oak balanced by cinnamon, nutmeg, and tropical fruit, finishing smooth and satisfying at 40% ABV. Sip it neat or over a single large cube. This 750 ml bottle is a statement gift for a tequila lover.
