Cava Antigua Reposado is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, rested in new American white oak and French oak barrels designed exclusively for the house with a secret toasting method. That proprietary toast is the signature of Cava Antigua, giving even its reposado an unusual depth and dessert-like character.
It shows gold hues and a light amber color with a medium-to-full body. The aroma is remarkably complex: chamomile, white chocolate, dried prunes, vanilla, stone-cooked agave, almonds, and lightly toasted oak. The flavor brings caramelized apple and cinnamon, and the finish is incredibly smooth with hints of agave, balanced oak, and a bittersweet edge at 40% ABV. Sip it neat or over ice, or make a rich Margarita. This 750 ml bottle is a customer favorite at Chips Liquor.
