Chanin Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard 2013 750ml

Lighter in color than the Duvarita, the 2013 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard has lots of the classic marine, shrimp broth and minerality of the site, as well as bright cherry, strawberry and spice aromas and flavors. Elegant, balanced, medium-bodied, and with bright acidity, this comes in on the leaner end of the spectrum, yet I suspect will flesh out with a year in bottle. Fermented with 45% whole clusters and aged 16 months in 20% new French oak, it’s an outstanding Pinot Noir that should be at it’s best from 2016-2021.
