Crafted in France by the Carthusian monks, Chartreuse 1605 Liqueur dElixir pays tribute to the original Elixir de Longue Vie manuscript first shared in 1605. This herbal liqueur blends alcohol, sugar, water, and 130 botanicals into a bold 56% ABV spirit layered with mint, alpine herbs, spice, citrus peel, and deep vegetal complexity. Rich yet vibrant, it delivers the unmistakable intensity that defines classic Green Chartreuse.
Inspired by the early 19th-century liqueur de sant, Chartreuse 1605 balances the power of Elixir Vgtal with refined sweetness and a long warming finish. Best enjoyed chilled between 1012C, over ice as a digestif, or added to cocktails and culinary recipes for extra herbal depth and aromatic character.
