CLOS DU CAILLOU 2023 COTES DU RHONE LES QUARTZ

WINE ADVOCATE 92 POINTS – “The 2023 Cotes du Rhone Les Quartz is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, sourced from quartz-rich sandy soils just outside the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. It reveals aromas of ripe red berries, licorice, crushed herbs, violets and warm stones. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s supple and layered, with a fleshy core of fruit framed by fine-grained tannins and a vibrant spine of acidity. More structured and serious than Le Bouquet des Garrigues, this is a concentrated yet balanced wine.”

JEB DUNNUCK 92 POINTS – “Bringing more depth and richness compared to the Bouquet des Garrigues, the 2023 Côtes Du Rhône Les Quartz offers black cherries, red plums, flowery incense, and pepper in a beautifully expressive style. It’s medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with a supple, soft, elegant mouthfeel and fine tannins that are beautifully integrated.”
