A single-estate, single-vintage release from La Collection Unique, sourced from Domaine de Martin in Hontanx, Bas-Armagnac — a 3.5-hectare estate on sables fauves (tawny golden sands) farmed by Guy Deyres, a historic partner of the Darroze house since 1974. A blend of 50% Baco, 40% Ugni Blanc, 5% Folle Blanche, and 5% Colombard, continuously distilled by Deyres himself at 53% alc. and aged in regional French oak — no blending of domains or vintages, preserving the full specificity of terroir and vintage.
Color: Gold with yellow-fire reflections.
Nose: Very fruity and complex — ripe quince, dried figs, and orange marmalade, with vanilla and cinnamon spice and a verbena infusion note.
Palate: The fruitiness carries through, carried by still-young but silky tannins.
Finish: Beautiful length.
ABV: 48.5% (97 Proof)
