Grapes are sourced from an impressive range of the valley’s top sub-appellations — Atlas Peak, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Diamond Mountain District, Howell Mountain, and Calistoga — under consulting winemaker Celia Welch and a team led by Sean Thompson, aged around 20 to 22 months in French oak, roughly 55-70% new. The blend typically runs 77-80% Cabernet Sauvignon with Malbec, Petit Verdot, and a touch of Merlot.
