This is quite fascinating, as the color and aromas have started to evolve. The wine shows aromas of orange peel, graphite, minerals, ink, earth and balsamic. Slightly gamey, full of umami and a touch of dried meat. It almost feels compressed on the palate thanks to the salinity, concentration and tannin structure. Touches of cassis and gooseberries at the end. The finish grows slowly. Drink now or hold.
