Domaine Georges Roumier Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2023 750ml

A slightly riper nose features notes of poached plum, discreet spice and a plethora of floral elements, especiallyviolet, lilac and rose petal. The broad-shouldered flavors are rich to the point of opulence while coating the palate with sappy dry extract on the hugely long, balanced and even firmer finale where a touch of bitter chocolate eventually appears. This is a big but harmonious wine that could probably be approached after 10-ish years or so. In a word, terrific.
