Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru les Pucelles 2007 750ml

93-95 One of Anne-Claude’s top Premier Crus in 2007, her Pucelles has fabulous definition and clarity on the nose, that trait of crushed stones (or liquid stones) upfront and instantly identifiable. Granite, just a hint of lavender, very taut. The palate is full of tension and poise, a citrus attack on the entry giving way to a stony finish with lemon and orange zest. It leaves the mouth refreshed and tingling with glee. Wonderful. Drink 2011-2020+.
