The domaine also makes three distinct village wine bottlings, from three of the best lieux à dits in Meursault: Sous la Velle, Grands Charrons, and Chevalières. The Grands Charrons bottling is the nuttier of the three premier crus — “the most Meursault-y” says Bernard — with honeyed notes of apple and peach coupled with toasty hazelnut tones and a bit of iodine. The 2015 is voluminous with exceptional life.
