DOMAINE ROULOT 2022 AUXEY DURESSES BLANC

Winemaker Notes – “This wine is made from sixty-year-old vines just outside the village of Auxey-Duresses, and is given the same treatment as the domaine’s most prestigious crus: a natural fermentation in barrel with minimal lees stirring, twelve months élevage with little new wood, and six months in stainless steel to tighten up before bottling. Linear and stony, with just enough richness to balance the citrusy fruit and slicing acidity.”

BURGHOUND 91 POINTS – “A discreet application of wood is present on the essence of white orchard fruit, lemon rind and soft petrol wisps. The racy and impressively intense medium weight flavors evidence ample minerality that is particularly prominent on the long and delicious if slightly rustic finale.”
