Hidalgo Especial Oloroso Villapanes is a premium Oloroso sherry from Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain — a rich, full-bodied dry Oloroso aged oxidatively through the solera system, with the dried fruit and nut character typical of long-aged Oloroso production.
Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana is one of the oldest and most respected sherry houses, dating to 1792. The Especial Oloroso Villapanes is a premium Oloroso bottling — produced from the Palomino grape and aged through extended oxidative maturation in the Hidalgo solera.
