High West American Prairie Bourbon San Diego Barrel Boys Barrel Select — an exclusive single barrel selection of High West American Prairie Bourbon chosen by San Diego Barrel Boys, a cask-specific expression of the distillery’s conservation-linked blended straight bourbon available only through allocated retail channels.
High West American Prairie Bourbon blends straight bourbons of varying ages into a consistent, approachable expression tied to the American Prairie Reserve conservation effort. The San Diego Barrel Boys barrel select takes one cask from that production and bottles it independently — the specific barrel’s warehouse position, temperature exposure, and extraction history produce a flavor fingerprint distinct from the standard blended release. The result is a bourbon that starts from the American Prairie foundation and diverges into barrel-specific character that no other bottle in the lineup replicates.
