Born from the untamed beauty of California’s Humboldt County, this rum embodies the distillery’s commitment to quality, transparency, and often, organic principles. It’s a remarkably clean and vibrant spirit, perfect for those who appreciate rum in its most pristine form.
Humboldt Distillery, nestled amidst the majestic redwood forests, prides itself on producing spirits that reflect their pristine environment. Their Small Batch Light Rum begins with the fermentation of high-quality organic sugarcane molasses. This carefully sourced molasses is then meticulously distilled using traditional methods, ensuring a spirit of exceptional purity and clarity. As a “Light” or “Blanco” rum, it is either unaged or rested for a very brief period and then charcoal filtered to achieve its crystal-clear appearance, allowing the true character of the distillate to shine through. This focus on small-batch production ensures a hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail in every step of the process.
Typically bottled at a versatile 40% ABV (80 Proof), Humboldt Distillery Small Batch Light Rum offers a remarkably smooth and approachable profile, making it a perfect foundation for a wide array of classic and contemporary cocktails.
