Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey is the original flavored Jack, a blend of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey with a honey liqueur made at the distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, bottled at 70 proof. Launched in 2011, it became one of the most successful flavored whiskeys ever made and opened the door for the whole category.
Tennessee Honey starts with the same charcoal-mellowed whiskey as Old No. 7, mellowed drop by drop through ten feet of sugar-maple charcoal, then adds a honey liqueur that brings a rich, smooth sweetness with hints of honey, vanilla and a touch of nut, finishing with the warm oak character of Jack. It is made to be served ice cold as a shot, poured over ice, or mixed in a Honey and lemonade, a Honey and ginger ale or a hot toddy. The bee on the label says it all: sweet, but with a sting. A staple for parties and an easy gift for anyone who likes their whiskey on the sweeter side.
