At 127.2 proof, this one is slightly more mellow in character compared to the Barrel Proof Rye, but it’s incredibly rich, round, and supple in its profile. From grain to barrel and straight to the bottle, this is a great example of JD’s Tennessee Whiskey — the kind of barrel pick you’ll actually want to drink rather than fuss over. Proof it down yourself and see where it takes you.
