The 2015 Extra-Brut Avize Champ Caïn is impressively powerful, dense and explosive right out of the gate. Candied lemon confit, dried flowers, tangerine peel, acacia honey and chamomile soar from the glass. The 2015 is quite rich and intense, with the more opulent side of Chardonnay very much in evidence. This is a total looker.
