This Cinsault features the vibrancy of wines grown in the granitic soils of the Apalta Valley. A nose of floral, strawberry and blackberry aromas set the stage for an intense palate of red plums and juicy dark berries. It has grip and optimal acidity, lifting light notes of spices, rosemary and other dried herbs in the finish. Taub Family Selections. —J.V.

The 2022 Cinsault Primo represents a milestone in the winery’s exploration of diverse flavors and styles. Sourced from Coelemu in the Itata Valley, this purple wine presents notes of strawberry, watermelon and roses, with a decidedly savory inflection. Dry, juicy and fairly concentrated, the palate is lifted by a refreshing core. -J.H.
