Mackmyra Gruvguld Swedish Single Malt Whisky (700ml)
Volume: 700ml ABV: 46.1% Age: No Age Declaration Country: Sweden
Swedish distillery Mackmyra brings you this uniquely smoky, peaty expression, given the name Svensk Rök, which means ‘Swedish Smoke’. The smoke flavour is inspired by the Swedish tradition of preserving food over burning juniper twigs. Smoking their malt in this way captures this traditional flavour in a whisky with an uniquely Swedish characteristic.
Gruvguld directly translates to “Gold From the Mine” and is an apt name for this whisky which has been aged in small casks of between 30 and 128L and stored 50M below ground in the mine of Bodas.
