Metaxa Ouzo is a classic Greek anise spirit from the House of Metaxa, best known for its amber Metaxa brandy. Distilled with anise and Mediterranean botanicals, it is clean and aromatic with bold licorice, a touch of sweetness, and a warm, spicy finish. Add ice or water and it turns cloudy white, the signature of a true ouzo.
Ouzo is Greece’s national spirit and the heart of the meze table. Serve Metaxa Ouzo chilled or over ice with olives, grilled octopus, and feta, or mix it with lemonade for an easy summer drink.
