Michel Bouzereau Meursault Premier Cru Perrieres Blanc 2022 750ml

The 2022 Meursault Perrières 1er Cru does not have the bandwidth of its peers on the nose—clean and delineated, yet it needs more minéralité and energy. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, fresh and certainly very sapid. There is a linearity on the finish allied with a subtle pepperiness that I really admire, though it never quite kicks on like the best in this flight. Bottled under Diam 30. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
