Paternoster Aglianico del Vulture Don Anselmo 2017 750ml

If you’re new to aglianico from the far south region of Basilicata, this is a good place to start. Dusty ripe red berries with slightly meaty and herbal nuances, together with vivid, citrus-rind acidity, firm but not over-firm tannins and a long finish. Medium- to full-bodied, brimming with good energy and the promise of long aging. Drink or hold.
