Product Overview
95 Points, “Cellar Selection”, 4 on “Top 100 Wines of 1998” – Wine Spectator“A ripe and rich ’95 boasting a remarkable essence of crushed berries, this is classic Port. It’s full-bodied and quite sweet, with the velvetiest of tannins and a long, long ripe fruit finish. At its best after 2008. 3,000 cases made.” -4/30/98
90 Points – Wine Enthusiast“This wine has the dark fruit typical of this quinta, but this year shows more elegance than usual, with dusty tannins and concentrated, sweet fruit.” -RV, 2/1/01
