JANCIS ROBINSON – 17.5 (Out of 20) POINTS 18 months in large oak barrels.Unusual aroma that is very hard to describe. Earthy? Dry finesse in the texture, subtle and long and with fine red-fruit sweetness. This has something rocky and mineral about it too, like a Douro table wine. Excellent balance between freshness and length. Silky and fresh and great length with a dry savoury finish thanks to the tannins. Drink date: 2020 to 2040.(Julia Harding, MW)
