Redbreast Lustau Edition Irish Whiskey is a collaboration between Midleton Distillery and Bodegas Lustau, the celebrated sherry house of Jerez. The single pot still whiskey, triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley and aged nine to twelve years in bourbon and sherry casks, is then finished for a year in casks seasoned with Lustau’s finest Oloroso sherry and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
It is the ultimate sherried style of Redbreast: rich dried fruit, fig, marzipan and toasted nuts on the nose, a full, velvety palate of dark chocolate, toffee and spicy pot still character, and a long finish where the Oloroso lingers. It is best served neat, and it makes a memorable pairing with dark chocolate or blue cheese.
This 750ml bottle is a favorite of sherry-cask lovers and a natural next step after Redbreast 12. Buy Redbreast Lustau Edition Irish Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
