Reuscher Piesporter Michelsberg Sptlese Riesling

The nose opens with ripe tropical fruitpeach and honeydew melonfollowed by lime blossom and a distinctive slatey minerality. There is a honeyed quality that signals the late-harvest ripeness without veering into overt sweetness. On entry tropical citrus and white grapefruit give way to a mid-palate of pear green apple and tangerine. The natural residual sugar is well balanced by bracing Mosel acidity with earthy undertones and hints of herb adding complexity. Lime zest threads through each layer keeping the wine lively. The finish is medium in length pleasantly sweet and marked by a lingering trace of slate mineral and citrus peel. A clean refreshing close invites the next sip.
