Shibui Pure Malt Whisky is a sophisticated Japanese expression distilled and aged in Niigata, crafted exclusively from 100% malted barley. This expression is a tribute to the art of blending malt whiskies, matured in an intricate combination of American ex-bourbon barrels, Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, and rare Japanese Mizunara oak. The result is a rich, well-balanced whisky that highlights bold and indulgent flavors like walnut, roasted coffee, and dark chocolate, underscoring Shibui’s commitment to purity, authenticity, and depth of character.
