Stranahan’s Rocky Mountain Angel 12-Year is a groundbreaking American single malt whiskey, meticulously crafted at high altitude in Denver, Colorado. Aged for 12 years in new American charred oak barrels, this ultra-premium expression pushes the boundaries of American whiskey, achieving a depth and complexity comparable to Scotch whiskies more than twice its age.
The whiskey’s extended maturation at elevated altitude accelerates evaporation, with an angel’s share loss exceeding 80%, concentrating the flavors to an exceptional degree. The final maturation in Port wine casks from Portugal imparts a luxurious depth, layering rich dark fruit, spice, and velvety oak notes onto the whiskey’s bold, malt-forward foundation.
A rare, limited-edition release, Mountain Angel 12-Year showcases the pinnacle of American Single Malt craftsmanship, delivering a whiskey of unparalleled richness, depth, and complexity.
