The StrathmillDistillery was originallyfounded as a corn mill in 1823 and in 1891 was finally converted into a Whisky distillery. This bottling was a Special Limited Release in 2014 with 2700 bottles released globally. A rare release from the distillery itself as most of the whisky in the past has been released by Independent Bottlers. Matured for 25 years in refill American Oak casks.Colour: goldNose: cream, citrus fruits with malt and brown sugar, some clovesPalate: Sweet, citrus fruits, some herbs, honey and spices such as cinnamon, cloves. Finish:Stays for a while with subtle notes of mint.
