Originating from plots planted 35 years ago on the Altenberg of Bergbieten, hence its name “Grand A”.The Sylvaner Grand A is marked by the identity of the Altenberg: tension and depth. It has a clear, brilliant color with yellow-green highlights. The nose is fresh and subtle with aromas of fresh herbs. The attack on the palate is vibrant and precise.A beautiful balance between the fruit’s tannins and a vinous character, all carried by a delicate acidity. The finish offers citrus notes that echo the sparkling attack. This Sylvaner pairs equally well with shellfish or grilled fish as with a fine charcuterie platter.
