The Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel Sherry Cask is drawn from a single European oak Oloroso sherry butt, matured for at least fifteen years at the family-owned Dufftown distillery founded in 1892 that still grows its own barley, malts on its own floors and keeps its own coopers and coppersmith. Each heavily toasted butt yields no more than 800 bottles, and every bottle is numbered with its cask, so no two releases are quite alike.
