Tim Smith Climax Wood Fired Whiskey is Tim Smith’s century-old moonshine recipe aged and filtered with toasted oak and maple — producing a beautiful amber color and smoky, wood-fired flavor, with a hint of maple sweetness on the nose and a corn-and-malted-barley mouthfeel.
Tim Smith of “Moonshiners” (Discovery Channel) fame takes his family’s long-running corn-and-barley recipe and finishes it with toasted oak and maple, giving the moonshine spirit a barrel-aged amber profile while preserving its grain-forward soul.
