VINCENT PINARD 2021 SANCERRE ROUGE CHARLOUISE

VINOUS 92 POINTS – “The 2021 Charlouise is a delicate style that flows easily across the palate. While the Pinards usually utilize whole bunch fermentation, the stems weren’t ripe enough in 2021. The vintage’s lightness meant that the time in barrel was also reduced. As a result, it’s fresh and fruity with bright red cherry and damson fruit flavors, but there’s no doubting there’s density of concentration on the core. The finish is chalky and appealing.”
