Product Overview
Va. Distilling Company teamed up with Old Rasputin to create a whisky finished in barrels that previously held Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout.
The flavor profile is bold and layered:
- Dark chocolate & cocoa
- Espresso / roasted coffee
- Molasses, toffee, and caramel
- Subtle dark fruit (raisin, plum)
- Malty, slightly bitter stout finish
It’s basically a bridge between craft beer and whisky, leaning toward stout lovers who want to explore whiskey.
