2014 DeBortoli Estate Grown Pinot Noir

Semi translucent very dark red colour with a dark to brick red hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherries intertwine themselves with a faint touch of anise and gamey meat like characters followed by spicy cedar end notes. Light to medium weight the palate has a relatively supple mouthfeel with flavours of dark cherries, gamey dried meat like characters, a touch of earth and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Good depth and savouriness with a medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, gamey meat characters and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
